October 15 Rendezvous Update

Hi Folks, I hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather. Our October 15th rendezvous is quickly approaching. Our very own Sharon Sprague is performing in another East Mountain Center for Theater dinner theater production of The Jack-O-Lantern Murders, and one of the performances happens to be the evening of the EMBCC Gallisteo event. I therefore propose that we include the dinner theater in our day of frivolity. Tickets may be purchased at http://www.emct.org/our-season/ . If this is acceptable to Judy and Doug, we'll have an afternoon event at their place instead of dinner. So it'll be breakfast at Greenside, drive to Gallisteo, back through Madrid and then to the Wrobel's for lunch/drinks? Then reconvene at the East Mountain Community Center for the dinner theater at 6:30 (coat and tie optional). Feedback please, either here or on the blog. Thanks, Ross

Rendezvous

You can download a registration form at www.baoa.org Cheers Henry

Rio Grande Valley Regional Rendezvous

I want to invite all EMBCC members to this event in Taos on September 23-25. Chris and I have been working hard on the TSD road rally scheduled for Saturday. Friday offers either a tour that takes off from Taos at 11 am or a Caravan from Albuquerque that starts with breakfast at the Mariott. Sunday is a car show that will have a new Judged category separate from the Popular choice category. Steve Keppler is also helping me with the event. He owns land in the East Mountains and plans to build with his wife Teresa in the future. Hope to see you there.

Cheers, Henry

New oil pressure line in TR6

Ok, I'm in, I assume the club's base location is the Greenside rather than the Lizard, convenient for me. I put a new Oil pressure line in the TR6 last night. I figure this is the appropriate place to post this rather than driving off my most valued facebook friends. Would you like a photo?

Whimsy

Driving through the mountains of New Mexico in a Little British Car is the very definition of "whimsy." The only other thing that comes close is sailing on a lake in New Mexico (with a British Car waiting for you for the drive home). Looking forward to sharing many such moments with our fellow British Car enthusiasts. Michelle

From the First Lady

Looking forward to much fun and foolishness. With best wishes, Michelle

Welcome to our blog!

As President of this motley bunch, duly elected in absentia, I would like to welcome all members and lookiloos to our new blog. Please post often any thoughts (doubtful) and experiences you may have that are somehow connected to our lovable--if unreliable--outmoded forms of transportation. Here's a picture of our recent trip to Chama to be in the Chama Days parade with the Humane society. Also, a picture of your President and First Lady near the Brazos Cliffs.
